Training and Qualifications

I have been training and practising since 1995. I have an MSc and diploma in gestalt psychotherapy gained at The Metanoia Institute, Ealing. I have also trained in psychodymanic counselling at Westminster Pastoral Foundation, London and hold a Diploma in Applied Group Analytic Skills and a Certificate in Counselling Skills and Attitudes. I have additional training in addiction, working with grief and loss, trauma, couples work, and supervision (with the Centre for Supervision and Team Development). I have extensive experience working with clients one to one as well as facilitating groups, and previously worked at the Priory Hospital, Roehampton. As well as my private practice, I also work as both a counsellor and psychotherapist for the NHS. I have also just finished as an assistant tutor on the Gestalt MSc Psychotherapy course at the Metanoia Institute.

Issues covered are depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, grief and loss or general exploration. I also specialise in alcohol/drugs/addiction issues.

I am a registered UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) psychotherapist. I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and also of the Metanoia Institute and subscribe to both of their codes of ethics.
